The Challenge
Protiviti, a global consulting firm with thousands of employees across multiple locations, struggled with manual asset tracking processes. Their IT equipment, office furniture, and consulting materials were managed through spreadsheets, leading to frequent misplacements, delayed deployments, and poor visibility into asset utilization.
Field consultants needed immediate access to asset information while on client sites, but the existing system required desktop access and VPN connections. This created bottlenecks in asset allocation and made it difficult to track equipment across different office locations and client engagements.
